I tried. I really did. But whatever magic books one and two had? Gone. Vanished. I hit a wall so hard I got whiplash and closed the app without a single ounce of guilt.
Sometimes a series loses you and there's no coming back. This was that moment for me. No hard feelings, but I have too many books on my TBR to force myself through something that isn't working.
💀 2/5 stars. The crown was gilded but the story was hollow.
