ATE. THIS. BITCH. UP.

A trauma nurse who's obsessed with a masked thirst trap creator on social media. She drunkenly comments that she wants him to break into her house. HE ACTUALLY DOES IT. And somehow — SOMEHOW — it becomes the funniest, sexiest, most unhinged love story I've ever consumed.

This book had NO RIGHT being this funny. I was cackling. Full belly laughs between scenes that had absolutely no business making me laugh. The banter between Aly and Josh is god-tier. The cat named Fred? Scene-stealer. The fact that this man is the son of a serial killer and is terrified he's inherited the crazy, while also literally stalking a woman who ASKED to be stalked? The layers of absurdity and genuine emotion had me whiplashing between hysteria and heart-eyes.

And the spice? Stupid hot. Criminally hot. "Why is the stalking turning me on" hot. Navessa Allen said "I'm going to make consensual home invasion sexy" and she was RIGHT and I'm FURIOUS about it.

It's dark. It's funny. It's stupid in the best way. The characters are idiots and I love them. The plot escalates into genuine danger territory and the switch from playful cat-and-mouse to "I will murder anyone who touches you" was ELECTRIC.

And the audiobook narration? LEGENDARY. Absolutely legendary. The voices, the timing, the delivery of the humor — perfection. This is an audiobook-first experience and I will die on that hill.

🔦 5/5 stars. Funny. Sexy. Stupid. Perfect. The audiobook alone deserves an award.
