Book one was the gateway drug. Book two was the full addiction.

Everything escalated — the bullying got darker, the magic got stronger, the Heirs got MORE insufferable (and somehow hotter, which is rude), and the twins started fighting BACK. Tory and Darcy finally growing backbones and clapping back at these overpowered fae boys? YES. More of that energy please.

The Orion and Darcy tension continued to destroy me. Every stolen moment, every almost-touch, every time they shouldn't be in the same room together but ARE — I was feral. This man is a walking red flag and I don't care.

Caleb's feeding scenes? Unhinged. Seth being the WORST and somehow making me laugh? Annoying. Darius being Darius? I wanted to punch him and also... not punch him. The way this series makes me root for people who are actively terrible is genuinely concerning and I refuse to examine it further.

The pace didn't let up for a single second. More drama, more betrayal, more chaos, more magic, more "I should stop reading and go to sleep" at 3am while turning another page anyway.

I'm in too deep and there's no getting out.

🔥 5/5 stars. Still crack. Still not sorry.
